I'm in King, NC. Just outside of Winston-Salem. I'm available within two hour drive of Winston-Salem. Anything outside of 2 hours, I don't travel except for beach locations in the NC/SC areas. Shoot me an email and we'll go from there.
I've been a photographer since before the digital era! I started as a landscape photographer in the '90's. I did my first portrait shoot in 1993.
As for now, it's all portraits. No weddings. I offer different portrait sessions. Families. Extended families. Couples. Maternity. Kids. High school seniors. Graduating college seniors. Headshots. All of these on location.
My studio offers these sessions: Couples. Maternity. Kids. Seniors. Headshots.
I'm still working on studio space for families.
Whenever is the best time for you! I'm flexible...almost. Unfortunately, I do have a day job but I'm available evenings, weekends, and, for now - Thursdays. My favorite time of the day is before sunset. The golden hour. It's best to schedule an hour before sunset.
I take on only one session a day so the time (and length of session) is flexible. No need to hurry along before the next client comes.
I'm no fashion expert but I do know these rules. Don't get everybody's clothes to match. Be sure to stay within the color palette, the same shade of colors. Don't wear a tee shirt with a loud, bright graphic or logo. Nobody will want to see that next month or in five years. For the studio shots, wear clothing to cover up elbows and knees.
I'm working on a guide to send out to clients after they book a session.
Anywhere from 2 to 14 days. It all depends on how busy I am during that time frame.
No way, Jose! I'm embarrassed to show you my unfocused, underexposed shots! I'm not perfect. Seriously, there'll be images you don't want to see. Repetitive images. Images where somebody blinked (or half blinked). I spend some time culling images to the best ones you'll love.
Yes. You're welcome to download images to your phone or computer. You can print it wherever you want but I can do that for you if you prefer. I have a go-to photo lab where they do excellent work on prints, mounted prints, and canvases.
See my page for more options, Wall display options.
Yes, the edited images are yours. However, I use your images for marketing purposes on my website, Instagram, and Facebook page. I may get a print/canvas to use in future shows/festivals. I do ask for your permission first.
Umm...that'll be a wonderful talent for me! No. Don't fret. We can have fun in the rain. We can use clear or styled umbrellas. Light rain won't hurt us. If that's not your style, you can reschedule if you want. We'll definitely reschedule if it's pouring; raining all day long - all week long and there's mud where beautiful grass should be!
No rain but it's cloudy? I love to shoot when it's cloudy because it gives even lighting. If it's extremely dark, we can reschedule.
If it's midnight, we can reschedule. No, that's not related to weather. Um...moving on...
Still have that burning question in your mind? Shoot me an email. Send me a Facebook message. Text me. Attach your note to a pigeon and fly it to me. Morse code me.
